About RC Refurb Etc & TPRacing Team
We are a family base company, who takes pride in our families, kids, schools and communities being able to provide satisfactory customer service and quality products. Our company has been around for 18 yrs and counting and is known to many, as RC Refurb Etc. We started out in 1995 as a client of other websites…such as Hank Hanquist Swap & Sale Board, RC Car, Ebay Etc. and used their services and our company has progressed ever since. As of now we have built a dependable business which supplies excellent Slot  and RC Car goods and services. Our prices are set at an affordable and reasonable rate, therefore, making it easier for the consumer to decide what it is that they want, can afford, and be able to purchase.
At RC Refurb Etc./Pitmats & D.I.T.S, our saying is Kids and Families come 1st. We all remember the good old times, when we were kids and Mothers, Fathers, Grand Mom & Grand Pop, Sisters, Brothers, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and that 1 family friend…who came over after school, but their chores were done. We aim to incorporate this hobby back into the families, around the world….after all, this is to get the self respect, that has not been around, for too long now. Our kids are selling drugs, shooting each other, others and themselves…… with all types of guns. We as parents and educators, really need to look at getting this very important hobby back into the families. of today. We think, that this is a powerful tool to have in our hand and truly, will make a better communities……all around.RC Refurb Etc./PitMats/D.I.T.S., is dedicated to help push this slot car Racing transition…..into home schools, churches and even into the elderly living quarters. This is a must mission for us. We will not stop or back down do to the lack of effort from others. Our 1st accomplishment, came in 1999 when an organization name Bridging Works came in to play after a very good friend and RC Racer named Michael Knight….could no longer do the RC Classes, for Bridging Works….in which they hired him to do. Michael Knight, then gave us a call for duty to come in and have a meeting with the organizer Steve Sintell. We hit off the same block, that  Mike did and it was a successful blast. We did it for about a year….going to various Philadelphia Schools. We were teaching RC Racing, car & truck set ups, tire compounds, chassis type, vehicle types etc. It was an awesome experience, in our lives. It hurt us so bad, that we couldn’t just stop. We then took it to work as I was a School Police Officer…we had it doing the recess time for the kids….yet it still took off to another hight. As we did have a few students totally interested….the parents seen it in another way and form. The parents thought, that $250.00 was entirely too much money, but when they came to me I seen two bright young men, looking to get involved in RC Racing. They were dressed really nice with very expensive clothing and MJ black & red high top basketball sneakers and a jacket, that cost around $350.00 to $400.00, but yet…$250.00 was too much for a hobby, that would and could keep them off the streets and somewhat out of trouble. That didn’t stop or deter us.Our 2nd accomplishment came in 2008 when an after school program ran by the organization called Neighborhood First….in Bristol Pa.. Our 1st mission, was the wiring and controls of an RC Robot at the FRD grade school. Mine you we had never did a robot, in all the yrs of Radio Control Racing. Here’s the kicker….this robot, is going to built by ADAH kids. They did the design all we had to do was give input and it worked out great. Out of about 30 or 40 schools….FDR came in 10th place….that was so awesome, to see these kids face and realized that their hard work came from their loving hearts, that made this position. As of now…as we wright this….we are now running the FDR Slot Car Class, every Tuesday. this is just the start, but with all of your help….we can expand this hobby back into the lives of families and friends. Please remember this. There’s a different between sports and a hobby. your sports life, is very limited and that even depends on whether you can stay healthy, but a hobby last forever. We don’t know of anyone, needing an operation or even got paralyzed from racing or practicing…..with slot cars. :)

GOD BLESS US ALL!!!

Thank You All!

  5. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

  6. Aw, this was a really nice post. In concept I would like to put in writing like this additionally – taking time and precise effort to make an excellent article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and not at all appear to get one thing done.
