We will hold a Double Header……2 SCX Regional Races on March 10, 2012

1st Race is the SCX Nascar Regionals Race….(RULES WILL BE POSTED SOON)

2nd Race is the SCX GT Regionals Race…..(RULES WILL BE POSTED SOON)

The rules will be the same as last year, however, there will be a spec tire and motor to be announced. We are considering allowing a different rim to be used as SCX does not sell the NASCAR rims separate.More on this will be posted soon.

The National Race will be on April 7, 2012 at Race-Wear on the new track in Maryland.

Race-Wear is looking for tracks to host a regional event. Please let me know if anyone is interested in hosting one. Those who have raced in this in the past know what kind of fun it is.

Here’s another FUN race…….in which we will be having a Selected Fly Front Engine GT Cars and Selected IMSA Group 5 GT Cars Race. It’s time to bring out your Fly & IMSA cars out and runnn the wheels off of them. the fun part is, that we will be running 2 races March 3rd. ALL CARS MUST HAVE THE SAID PARTS ON THEM…..If not YOU WILL NOT be able to run. Rules are Rules. Let’s have some fun….Family!

This is going to be a Blast….From THE PAST……ALLLL DAY FUN!!!

Please see car set ups and RULES…..BELOW.

Lister GT, Marcos, Panoz GT, Corvette C5R, Viper and
BMW M3 GTR.

Rules: Stock Fly wheels, Stock Fly 18K Motors, Stock 9/27 Gears, and
Black Super tires. Any front tires, stock guide blade with
any braid.

2nd Race seletced IMSA group 5 GT cars.
Eligible cars: Fly Capri, Fly BMW M1, FLY BMW 3.5 CLS, Fly Lancia Beta, Fly Porsche 935 K3, MRRC Toyota Celica and Ninco Porsche 934.

Rules: No cars with pods, stock wheels, stock guide blade, any braid,
any front tires, black super tires, stock gears for the sidewinder
11/36 and stock gears for the inline 9/27.

NO CLEANING TIRES DURING THE LANE CHANGES ONLY UNDER THE GREEN FLAG

So let’s come out and race these old GT cars and have some fun……

The top winners had a tuff time getting ahead, of the pak and found out, that with these cars….you have to drive them to win with them….that’s all is it.

Don J., came in 1st, even after loaning out some of his Selected Cars. Dave D. came is 2nd after chasing 1st place..3rd places was Huey….his 2 cars were hooked and was on point as always you really have to watch this guy. Martin D, 4th place. This guy, who always in the top line up lately. Martin D., is on the road…..a lot and it pays of for him. 4th place. Good Job Guys. As for the rest of the racers….5th Joe Sr, 6th Marcus Q, 7th Dan, 8th Kim D, 9th JJ, 10th Don W, 11th Matt W and least but last…..our young Boy 12th Mr Sam. everyone ran a good race and had a tons of fun doing so. Keep Up The Good Old Fun Racing Guys. It really was some very good racing going on Sat the 28th. We will be having more of the classic races….so stay tooned.

This was one of the best races, that we’ve seen in this class in awhile. It’s a real “Blast” to run these cars in a race. The race had some good old Slot car Racing Competition. All of the guys….in this case, there were no Females, had a good chance to pull this Selected Fly LeMans Classic & 50s & 60s RACE off.
